Klondike tomatoes should be planted in seedlings. For the first stage of growing it is necessary:

  • prepare containers for seedlings, it is better to use separate peat pots;
  • complex soil for tomatoes can be purchased as soil;
  • seeds do not need additional preparation;

  • planting depth 1.5-2 cm;
  • maintain the temperature in the room with seedlings at least +23 degrees;
  • carry out regular watering of seedlings;
  • place the seedling pots next to the light source.

Sowing seedlings begins two months before the expected date of planting in the ground. It is necessary to pick after the appearance of the first two sheets. Before planting, it is recommended to harden the plant. Place seedlings in a greenhouse or open field should not be close to each other. The optimal number of seedlings per 1 sq. meter - three. Care instructions:

  • form a plant into 1 or 2 stems;
  • water with warm water, at least 1 time in 5 days;
  • regularly weeding and feeding;
  • tie up a plant;
  • loosen;
  • remove stepchildren.

Gardeners' opinion

Especially for the grandson, we decided to try to grow dietary tomatoes. Friends advised orange Klondike tomatoes. The seedlings were planted in mid-March. There were no problems, good seedlings sprouted, and they immediately made a dive. It turned out to form the bushes into one stem. Bushes are tall - be sure to tie up or put up supports. We were satisfied with the harvest. Ripe tomato tastes excellent. The grandson ate with pleasure all summer. The variety is stored for a long time, you can safely transport it. We spoiled ourselves with beautiful tomatoes until the end of October.

Last summer I tried to plant Klondike tomatoes. I liked the simplicity and taste of ripe berries. Do not require close attention. The main thing is to tie up, water and fertilize in time. There were no problems with growing. I recommend.
