It is difficult to imagine modern agricultural technology without the use of fungicides. These substances are used for the prevention and control of plant diseases that cause microscopic pathogenic fungi. The variety of drugs is very large. Not all gardeners and gardeners have heard of Pergado - a complex fungicide, the instructions for the use of which will help to effectively use it in amateur and farms.

Purpose, composition and release form of the fungicide Pergado

The antifungal drug was developed and registered by the Swiss company "Syngenta", the official representative of which in Russia is LLC "Syngenta". It contains inorganic active ingredients:

  • copper oxychloride;
  • mandipropamide.

Pergado comes in the form of granules that dissolve in water. Most often it is packaged in packages of 5-6 kilograms. Designed to protect grapes from mildew, black rot and other diseases. Effectively protects vegetable plants from the development of bacteriosis, downy mildew.

How does the drug work?

An aqueous solution of the drug penetrates into the plant through the leaves, buds and ovary. Forms a protective film under the layer of cutin wax-like substance. This slows down the growth of mycelium and prevents the formation and maturation of spores.

The drug works at the cellular level. It stops the formation of cell membranes. Effectively disrupts metabolic processes in fungal cells, their spores.

Advantages and disadvantages

The benefits include:

  1. Granular form of release, which does not produce dust.
  2. Excellent solubility in water.
  3. The combination of active ingredients prevents the development of resistance.
  4. Stable on the plant, not washed off by rain.
  5. Able to protect the growing parts of the plant.
  6. Effectively and quickly acts even at low temperatures, it is found in plant tissues after 2-3 hours.
  7. When used on grapes, it does not affect the fermentation and taste of the wine.

Disadvantages:

  1. The prepared solution cannot be stored for a long time.
  2. The high cost of one package weighing 5-6 kg.

Consumption rate for different plants

Despite the fact that exceeding the norm does not have a detrimental effect on the treated crops, the amounts indicated in the table should be adhered to.

  • pour the drug into a container with a volume of 11-12 liters;
  • pour 5-6 liters of water;
  • stir until dissolved;
  • bring the amount of liquid to 10 liters;
  • fill the sprayer tank;
  • start processing.

The resulting working solution must be consumed during the day.

Instructions for use of the fungicide Pergado

It is recommended to use the diluted working solution at an air temperature of at least +5 and not higher than +30 degrees. The first spraying is desirable at the beginning of the growing season. For vegetable crops, this is the formation of 1-2 pairs of true leaves, for grapes - the end of flowering and berry ovary.

Subsequent treatments are carried out at intervals of 14-21 days, three times per season. In some cases, the plant is sprayed additionally after hail or dust storms.

Precautions for use

When processing, you should adhere to the following rules:

  • do not spray in the presence of children, pregnant women, pets;
  • avoid contact with food, animal feed;
  • process in the morning or evening in calm weather;
  • work in protective clothing, gloves, mask and goggles.

The last treatment should be carried out no later than the recommended dates before harvest.

The degree of toxicity of the agent

The preparation contains copper. It is considered moderately toxic to humans. It belongs to the substances of the 3rd hazard class. Has no proven carcinogenic properties.

Consider the direction of the wind when treating plants. And also the proximity of reservoirs, sources of drinking water, places of detention, grazing of animals.

Compatibility with other drugs

Pergado can be combined with other means used at the same time. Its quantity decreases, and the efficiency increases in tank mixtures prepared from 2-3 preparations.

In each case, when mixing substances in one tank, they must be checked for compatibility.

How to store the fungicide?

Store the drug in its original packaging in a dry place. Storage temperature without loss of quality: from -5 to +35 degrees. The shelf life is 36 months.
