To achieve a good harvest, you need not only to fertilize the plantings regularly, but also to monitor the quality of the land. Also, the cultivation of horticultural crops involves the periodic elimination of weeds. Various methods can be used to combat them, including the use of industrial spray preparations. One of the best products in this category is the herbicide Fusilad Forte.

Composition and release form of the drug Fuzilad Forte

This tool belongs to the systemic, it is used to combat different types of weeds. The positive effect is achieved thanks to a well-thought-out composition. The active ingredient is fluazifop-P-butyl, which is a derivative of aryloxyalkane carboxylic acids.

The herbicide is a translucent liquid with a slight yellow undertone and a weak odor. The concentrate dissolves quickly in water, acetone, methanol and other liquids, which significantly expands the scope of its use in weed control. Sold in containers of 10 liters.

How does the remedy work?

The death of weeds when using the herbicide occurs due to the unique composition. The active active ingredient is able to penetrate through the surface layers of foliage and move through the vessels of plants, preventing cell division. At the same time, the production of substances that form the membrane is disrupted.

Pros of the herbicide

The main advantages of Fusilada Forte are:

  • performance - the first positive changes appear after 3 days;
  • long period of action;
  • a wide range of applications - Fusilad Forte is suitable not only for processing beds, but also for fields;
  • economical consumption;
  • the effect of treatment does not decrease even after precipitation;
  • no harm to landings.

All these advantages make Fuzilad Forte indispensable in weed control.

Processed crops

It is recommended to use Fuzilad Forte only on crops for which it is guaranteed not to be harmful:

  • sugar and fodder beets;
  • peas, beans and soybeans;
  • sunflower;
  • grapes, citrus fruits;
  • late ripening vegetable varieties: potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, cucumbers and tomatoes.

It is strongly not recommended to treat the beds on which melons will be planted with this tool.

Weed impact rate

With proper care, weeds stop growing after 3 days. After another 5-7 days, the nodes and points acquire a brown tint, the leaves become burgundy. Complete death occurs 10-15 days after treatment.

Consumption rates for different plants

The dosage of the drug varies depending on which plant is being fought against:

  • the rate of application of the drug for the destruction of annuals of cereal weeds - 0.75-1 l / ha;
  • to combat creeping wheatgrass - 1.5-2 l / ha.

This dosage is used when treating all crops that can be sprayed with Fusilad Forte.

How to make a solution

Since the consumption rate of Fusilada Forte varies depending on the type of planting, you must carefully read the instructions before using the product. The solution for processing is prepared immediately before use. It is impossible to prepare it in advance, as well as to store it. The working solution is prepared using the following technology:

  1. Fill the container halfway with water.
  2. Pour in the required amount of the drug.
  3. How to mix the components.
  4. Top up with water to the maximum.

Finally, it is recommended to stir the solution again.

Application rules

Weeds can be sprayed with working solution only at temperatures from +10 to +30 degrees. For the greatest efficiency, it is recommended to treat weeds in the phase of 2-4 leaves in annuals and perennials up to 15 cm in height. In general, the drug can be used at different stages of crop development, from germination to bud formation.

For best results, spraying is carried out against the wind. The procedure is not carried out in case of strong dew and rain. For accurate destruction of perennial weeds, the treatment is recommended to be repeated after 10-15 days.

Toxicity and safety

The herbicide belongs to drugs of hazard class 2, therefore, when working with it, the following safety measures must be observed:

  • processing of crops is carried out using rod devices;
  • before spraying, it is recommended to warn neighbors about the upcoming procedures;
  • processing is carried out in tight clothing, rubber boots, gloves, respirator and glasses.

Compatibility with other drugs

Fusilad Forte can be used simultaneously with other herbicides intended for weed control, used at the same time. The tool can be combined with:

  • Actellik;
  • Karate Zeon;
  • Alto Super;
  • Aktara.
